Patron of Writing
I’m delighted to have become the first Patron of Writing for Writing Room, a fantastic, inclusive organisation that offers a range of creative writing courses.
I took a poetry course there back in 2014, at their original home in Wood Green. I was struggling to find time to write, between a PhD, job and a small child, and Writing Room gave me the space and incentive to prioritise my writing each week. Now they are online they offer courses and drop-in groups for writers at all stages of their writing journey, and their community has grown far and wide.
